01What we collect

What we collect

• Business listing information. Names, addresses, phone numbers, websites, hours, services, and offers for businesses, collected from publicly available sources and from the businesses themselves. Listings built from public sources are labeled with their source and verification status.

• Claim and account information. When a business claims or connects its listing, we collect the claimant's name, business email, and the information they confirm or correct about the business.

• Connection data. When a business connects a system (for example a booking or point-of-sale platform), the connection is authorized by the business through OAuth with our integration provider. We receive and use the data the business authorized — such as availability and offers — to keep its record current. We do not receive or store the business's passwords for third-party services.

• Communications. Messages sent to us (for example at [email protected]) and replies.

• Usage data. Server logs and privacy-respecting analytics about how the site and our agent interfaces are used, including queries made by AI agents against our directory and MCP endpoints.

02How we use it

How we use it

To operate and improve the directory; to display verified business records to people and to AI agents acting for them; to verify and correct listings; to communicate with businesses about their listings; to process payments for paid tiers (payments are processed by Square; we do not store full card numbers); and to comply with legal obligations.

03What we publish and share

What we publish and share

• A business's record is published as the business confirms it. Public-source listings are displayed with their provenance and verification status until claimed.

• We share data with service providers that host and operate TaskLinkr (cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing, integration providers) only as needed to run the service.

• We do not sell personal information.

• We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and its users.

04Your choices and rights

Your choices and rights

Owners may claim, correct, or request removal of a business listing at any time by contacting [email protected]. Individuals may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information by the same route; state privacy laws (including California's) rights are honored on request. We respond to verified requests without undue delay.

05Security and retention

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, described in our Information Security Policy. We retain listing and account data while it serves the directory's purpose and delete it on verified request or when it is no longer needed, subject to legal retention duties.
